🪪 Certification, Notarization & Delivery

Does the fee include certification?
✅ Yes — all translations include an official certification statement and CERTIFIED TRANSLATOR stamp from a certified Korean–English translator.

Does this include notarization?
❌ No. Only a lawyer or notary public can notarize documents in Canada. The Korean term 공증 is sometimes used for both “certification” and “notarization,” but these are different processes. Please confirm your submission requirements before ordering.

Certified translators are not authorized to assist with immigration or document submission procedures.

Does this include shipping or courier delivery?
No — shipping is extra. We can ship via FedEx, UPS, or Purolator, or you may send us your own prepaid label.

Can I receive my translation digitally?
Yes — most clients receive a certified PDF by email. Printed copies can be sent by courier upon request (extra fee).

📄 Document Quality Requirements

Can I send photos from my phone?
Unfortunately, no. We require clear, scanned PDFs. Cell-phone photos are often rejected by government agencies and universities.

Tip: Most public libraries and universities in Canada have free scanners available.

💰 Payment Options

What forms of payment do you accept?

  • Credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, AmEx, Apple Pay, Google Pay)
  • Interac e-Transfer (Canada only)
  • Direct deposit or bank transfer

You’ll receive a secure payment link with your quote.

I don’t have a Canadian bank account. Can I pay from Korea?
Yes — payment from a Korean bank account is accepted. Details will be provided upon request.

🕐 Turnaround Time

How long will it take?
Most standard documents are completed within 1–2 business days after payment. Larger or more complex documents may take longer; your quote will confirm turnaround time.

⚖️ Price Matching & Professional Standards

Another translator offered a cheaper rate. Can you match it?
Possibly. Please share their quote with us. Translation rates vary by experience and certification level. Certified translators in Canada pay annual membership fees (e.g., BC $365, AB $300, ON $374), and my costs for initially joining these associations can exceed $1,000 per province. Consider both price and credentials before deciding.

📝 Extra Services

Can you fill out government translator forms (e.g., Service Canada attachments)?
Yes — we can complete official translator forms for CAD $40 per form.
